Asalamu Alaykum,

Muslim Minnesotans have proven the power of Claiming our Voices and our vote. We’ve elected statewide leaders in MN who have moved policies to protect our vote, and are fighting for us to care for our families, ourselves, and one another.  

Yet, we have been horrified by the atrocities that have continued to be carried out in Gaza. By voting “Uncommitted” on Tuesday, March 5th in the presidential primary, we have a chance to use the power of our collective vote to send a message. It’s time for a cease fire. We’ve seen that message land powerfully through Michigan this week. We can do it in Minnesota too.  

Our Voice is Powerful. Voting is how Muslim Minnesotans will use our voice in both March and November 2024.

Be a Voter by 8:00 PM TOMORROW, Tuesday, March 5.

We need national leadership to lead boldly. It’s time they honor the dignity of Muslims both here and abroad. They need to know that we are “uncommitted” to any presidential candidate now, and we are “fully committed” to one another and staying in the conversation of this national election.

On Tuesday, March 5th, let’s vote “Uncommitted” together. By claiming our voices, we’ll push our national leadership to end the atrocities in Gaza and Palestine.
